Scott McEwan Builders Ltd was established in 2001, providing ecological and conservation building services. Since 2007, the company has concentrated on defect investigation and maintenance work, mainly in residential properties. A typical job would be in the central belt of Scotland, take less than a week to complete and may combine several trades.
Following an apprenticeship in Joinery, and a degree in Construction Management from Heriot Watt University, Scott McEwan was employed as an Engineer with Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd and then a Site Manager with conservation contractor Cumming & Co. Combined with 9 years experience of running his own company, this background has provided a sound understanding of building principles and their practical application.
Establishing his own company has meant that Scott McEwan can provide a high level of workmanship and personal service, working in a transparent manner to an agreed timescale and budget, with respect for clients and their buildings.
